Thanks to all participants
of our First ever Temporal Bone workshop
and Otology conference held
on August 3rd, 4th and 5th, 2007. Reminding
you that, we had some of the countries best
surgical hands to teach budding young ENT surgeons
to dissect on the temporal bone. This CME was
based on the concepts of Ugo Fisch’s tutorials.
The invited faculty comprised of illustrious
names like Padmashri Dr.Mohan Kameshwaran, Dr.Shabbir
Indorewala and Dr.Neelam Vaid.
The last day ended with an Otology conference
demonstrating techniques like canalplasty, 360
degree graft insertions, intact canal wall staged
tympanoplasties, ossiculoplasties and minimal
access methods in stapedotomy.

Celebration
-100 Implants- January 7,2007
Ever since it begans its cochlear implant programme
way back in April 2002, the institute had performed
a hundred implants. January 7,2007 is a memorable
day for the institute as it was this
day that those implantees and their families
had got together. The programme was inaugurated
by Fr.John. The inaugural function was followed
by a press meet. Many of the parents of the
implantees spoke on the occasion. The children
entertained the crowd with song and dance.
