Graduated from Medical College Calicut in 1991. She has specialized in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabitilation from the same college. She worked in National Hospital, Calicut and later as Head of Department, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Malabar Institute of Medical Sciences, Calicut (2001-2006). Her area of interest includes Cerebral Palsy and Pain Management.
